Grosvenor Pulford Hotel & Spa

Lovely stay at the Grosvenor pulford. Ate in palm court restaurant for evening meal which was so nice. Food, drinks and entertainment was spot on. Fella playing on a piano singing which made the environment so relaxed. Rooms lovely and cosy. Staff welcoming. Lovely spa and we booked a massage treatment. Breakfast was great too.

Stayed as a group of 3 to celebrate a birthday. Our room was very spacious with a double bed, a sofa bed and a single bed. Hotel slippers and robes for us all were provided but be aware of the cost if you lose or take the robes. They're not cheap! Tea / coffee/ hot choc, biscuits in room. Swimming pool was good, bit chilly but the hot tub was lovely. We went down on the Saturday evening before going out so it wasn't busy. My friend went down the following morning and said it was much busier. Pub and restaurant on site and the breakfast buffet was very good with plenty of choice. I asked and was given Gluten Free toast which they prepared in the kitchen and bought out for me. Friendly staff. Entrance hall to the hotel is very nice and spacious but there's a lot of dust in places. Would come back I think if the price was right. We got a good deal, which was no more than what we've paid for at standard B&B's. Free wifi in the hotel. A lovely hotel and would recommend to others, only a short distance from Chester city centre. We had a great time :)

The staff were incredible. From reception staff, the waiting staff and those working in the spa, and from our first interactions via email until we left, everyone’s focus was on helping us have the best experience. Thank you all so much. The hotel feels luxurious and certainly a higher class than the price belied.

We booked to enjoy the spa/ leisure facilities. Reception area was lovely and palm court was beautiful to look at. Room are nice and clean-bed was huge Spa treatment makes me want to go back and I really recommend the back massage by Lynsey. The actually pool & jacuzzi area is a little dated but still nice. We relaxed in the spa gardens with a cocktail. Staff were all helpful and pleasant. I will definitely go back Ate at Nelson’s for lunch and it was lovely.
